2023: The year of Generative Artificial Intelligence
In the last decade, investments in businesses that develop Generative Artificial Intelligence have grown significantly - and, contrary to other segments, investments in Generative Ai startups broke records in 2022 and 2023.
In 2023, the segment led the number of investments by sector, totaling more than US$20.5 billion.
Generative AI was also responsible for the 3 largest fundraising rounds of the year, totaling more than US$17 billion - OpenAI, Anthropic e Inflection AI.
