Venture capital investments totaled $19.2 billion in November. This figure represents a 16% YoY drop, driven by lower investor appetite, especially in later stages. In the period, only one deal surpassed the US$ 1 billion mark, the American e-cigarette manufacturer JUUL.

In the 2023 compilation, the American innovation ecosystem concentrates a large part of global VC investments. By November, 50% of investments had gone to startups in the United States, followed by Asia and Europe.
