What are the most accessed AI tools in the world?

ChatGPT remains firmly in the lead as the world’s top AI tool, with an astounding 4.7 billion monthly visits — placing it far ahead of any competitor.

In second place, Canva shows how AI is also transforming the world of design, reaching 887 million visits per month thanks to increasingly intelligent features.

The biggest spotlight this month, however, comes from China: DeepSeek AI saw an explosive traffic surge, jumping to 4th place with 268 million visits after its open-source release in January — a staggering growth of over 2,000%

Looking at the types of tools dominating the rankings, chat-based platforms clearly lead the way: 60% of the top 10 AI tools are conversation-focused, while 20% are image-related. The conversational interface — fast, intuitive, and versatile — remains the primary gateway to AI adoption.

Meanwhile, capital continues to flow: in 2024, one-third of all global venture capital funding went to AI startups. And early signals from 2025 suggest the race is only just beginning.
